Second visit to this place. Both times the food has been excellent and the service perfect. Menu is standard bar & grill fare, but with most having a unique twist. Monday's $.50 wing special is a must try. The Overtime wing sauce is outstanding. Have tried a LOT of wings in my lifetime and I believe the Overtime medium-hot are my new favorite. Noticed their M-F Happy Hour special advertised on the wall. $1 PBR draws, $1 wells, and $1 tacos. Haven't tried it yet, but the price is unbelievable!

Service: What a nightmare! I have never encountered such rude and incompetent staff. From the moment we arrived we were treated like crap. No way I would have stayed if I didn't have a groupon to burn. Still probably wasn't worth putting up with this place. Food: Crab Rangoon dip was decent, Fish and chips were unseasoned and cooked in old oil that gave them a sooty taste. Coleslaw also lacked any seasoning. Baked potato soup was decent, but then I've never met a potato soup I haven't liked (a bit Irish). Wings Ambiance: Lots of TV's. More children than adults. Nice furniture Service: Again, because it was really bad. I have run into bad servers before, but never an entire wait staff that nasty. A culture of terrible service. Bonus: I initially planned on contacting the restaurant about my bad experience before writing a review. I hate writing bad reviews. Then I saw all the astroturfing they have done and I decided to go ahead and write this to overcome the bs.

Lunch is awesome for 5.99 I got a fresh cheese burger and fries. I go all the time for lunch. Good specials. If you are a beer snob this is the place over 30 beers on tap. The last place was not good I was hesitant, You can tell the new people know what they are doing. Fresh food lots of beers and great specials.

The food is mediocre for a sports bar. The service was pretty poor for pretty much any sit down place. I ordered a hamburger and only after receiving it did I realize the waitress did not ask me how I wanted it cooked. It was overdone. I ordered a second beer, and 15 minutes later had to remind the waitress who had forgotten. It was not so busy that this was excuseable. Glad I tried it on a Groupon, otherwise would have been very upset with the experience.

We have been to Overtime Bar and Grill three times now. This week we tried the Whiskey River Burger on a Pretzel Bun and it was amazing. The bun was soft and really tasted great. My husband had the nachos and they were really good and my daughter had the Buffalo Chicken Salad- and it was fantabulous. Our order was delivered in less than 15 minutes and the waitress came by every five minutes to check on us and see if we needed our drinks refilled. The manager even came over to check on us and see how our meal was going. My mom, brother and sister-in-law went there last week and had great service and really good food as well. My daughter had a raspberry beer that I took two sips of (she's over 21)- and if I drank beer- I would definitely have one of those. They have a ton of different beers.

This was our third and last time to try Overtime. Our first time we were impressed with the food and had many selections of beer on tap. But they seem to be out of most of them. Service was pretty weak. The second time food was so so the server didn't have a list of beers on tap so we would make our request and they would check to see if they had it in stock. Pretty staple items like Boulevard Wheat was out, Blue Moon was out. After three attempts I asked if it would be easier to just tell us what you do have in stock. Again food service was ok. I will say they have killer onion rings some of the best I've had. So tonight we go back we are maybe one of 5 or 6 tables in the whole place. Sitting at the bar so we can see what is on tap We have to wait for some time to get a beer. When she took our order I looked at my watch to see how much time till the Royals play. It was 6:30 just after placing order or onion rings and wings. At 7:05 pm they are turning the Royals game on and we still don't have our wings and rings. So I asked the bar tender who was serving us how much for the beers we are leaving and she leaves with no answer. So I left enough cash on the table for several beers along with a good tip. The bar tender came out with our wings and rings but we left and went somewhere else to find better service.

I come here pretty frequently. Sometimes it's dead and sometimes it's so packed that you can't even walk through the place. The manager here knows everyone in my group and she makes us feel at home when she sees us walk in. The bartenders are cool and know a lot about the beers they have on tap (they have 50.) I don't eat here a lot, but I get pretzel rolls sometimes or wings and they're both pretty good. I've seen burgers come out and they look good, but I've never ordered one so I can't tell you how they taste. One thing worth mentioning is $1 wells on Wednesdays. My friends and I stopped going to Saints and started coming here when we feel like cheap drinks. All in all, cool place. I was pretty surprised by the negative reviews so that's why I made an account.

Service is scarce but at least they had the KU game on all the TVs. No one has a clue what's going on so if you're hoping for a nice evening go somewhere else. They have no idea how to serve people.

Great variety of beers. I love big hoppy beers and they have the best selection anywhere. Great taps and bottles. Oh ya, they have pinball too!

It was dead at 10pm on a Friday night and all of the booths were dirty. Our hostess left us standing at the table while she went to grab a cloth to wipe it down. She said they were messy because of the dinner rush!? The music was way too loud and was mostly house music,,,in a sports bar....am I confused? We ordered wings that were pretty tasty, jalapeno dip that had the texture of curdled milk and beer battered mushrooms. Frankly, this place doesn't stand a chance in h e double hockey sticks! Sports Cave has a much better set up and is pretty much across the parking lot. I can't see a reason I would return...unless they were handing out free booze.

Went for the third (and last time) on a recent Friday night. We wanted to watch the KU Bball game, called ahead and were assured that it would be on. Upon arrival we were told that it would be 15 mins to be seated since they were understaffed that night ( a Friday night remember). We got a table, no one came by our table for 15 mins to take drink orders and they couldn't find the game. We walked out as did a large majority of the folks there that night. Worst service in Overland Park. Get it fixed or watch your place close down.

I give this place 4 stars because we are Ohio State fans, and this is the place to be on game days! My reason for not giving a full 5 star rating? Service was EXTREMELY sloooow. We ordered our drinks and food before the people next to us, and then we sat and watched as the same people got their food and drinks and we were left looking around wondering what was taking our food (only chips and salsa!!) so long to arrive. They really need to increase their staffing, especially because it was a full house for game day. (And is for every game day...)

An amazing place to hang out and relax with a good drink. Overtime always has commendable drink specials and a staff that is friendly and tentative. If looking for a place to watch the game, get something to eat and maybe grab a drink or two this is where you want to go. Overtime is a clean bar with a comfortable environment. It has a wide selection of games that include darts, pool, pinball, Foosball, and one of my personal favorites, shuffle board. The drink specials are really where it's at. Especially on Wednesday nights with $2 wells and $5 pitchers and for the competitive person there is beer pong with a cash prize. Being a sports bar they do live up to their reputation by having a profuse amount of TV's to watch any game that is playing. This bar really does have it all including a wide selections of beers on tap. If ever a complaint the owners and the staff are sure to help and do their best to make things right. For being a local bar in the sea of chain restaurants they do an outstanding job of sticking out and going above and beyond.

Servers are incredibly slow, but they do have some great drink specials. $1 wells and shots on Wednesdays and buy one get one burgers as well! They have shuffle board, darts, two pool tables, and a beer tournament on Wednesday evenings.

Old Produce, Wrong temp food, but beer was cold. Last night my wife and I and two of my daughters ate here. Service was quick. Beer was cold. But that's it for the good parts. The lime rind on my gin & tonic was brown and yellow. The lettuce on my daughter's burger was brown on the edges. My wife's hamburger was overly chewy, the tomatoes and mushrooms on my pizza tasted funny. And our kid's meal had hot spices on the fries. Unacceptable! Also, the weird cheese sauce that comes with their pretzels is odd. And the pretzel sticks...some were hot and some were cold. We complained, but no adjustments were made to the bill Overtime has a great location but their food is terrible. Hire a real, professional chef and take food prep seriously.

Good place to go for a Buckeye game. Food is alright. Plenty of TVs. Only gets 3 stars because they didn't have enough wait staff to cover a busy game. Getting drinks took a good 20 min but at least we had good TV to entertain us. We will come back, but mostly because of the Alumni Association.

Well gave this place a try, the beer and Tv's are great, the food and service meh... 11 tables and one poor panicked server, and the food was ok, had the Buffalo salad for $11 Large! Ouch and it was at best ok. Would recommend for beer and a game, but the food and service are weak.

I frequent this place because of The Ohio State Buckeyes and I really like their food. Most everything is from scratch. I have had the grilled chicken, pork tenderloin, and fish sandwich. They where all awesome. Both the tenderloin and fish really could not be called a sandwich because if the size (you will need a knife and fork). For sports, all the walls are lined with TV's and projectors and have a very large seating capacity.
